Enhanced Access Appointments

Appointments are available in the evenings (after 18:30) and on Saturday mornings. These are available by special booking– please ask reception for details.

Disabled Access

Broad Street Health Centre is accessible for people with limited mobility, sensory impairment and is suitable for wheelchair access.

There are disabled parking bays on Level A of the Broad Street Mall car park. The route is level and flat from Level A to the GP Surgery.

For those accessing the surgery from the ground floor of the Broad Street Mall there are lifts to access the first floor.

When We Are Closed

If you need to access medical care out of hours, ring NHS 111. This number is free to call both from land lines and from mobile phones. NHS 111 provide cover for all urgent primary care requirements from 6:30pm – 8am Monday to Friday, from 6:30pm on Friday evenings until 8am on Monday mornings and all day on Public Holidays.

If you need treatment out of hours, NHS 111 will contact the local out of hours provider WestCall directly on your behalf. Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency. Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on bank holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.
